On Saturday, April 13th 2019 Alpha Sigma Phi hosted Miles After Myles on the University Green. Miles after Myles is an event dedicated to Myles Mislavsky, an undergraduate brother of Alpha Sigma Phi who suffered from bipolar disorder. The event is meant to be a celebration of Myles' life as well as to support people who suffer from mental illnesses. This event will raise awareness and funds for the Depression Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) which provides support to those who suffer from a variety of mental illnesses.
During the event all attendees who purchased a ticket participated in a walk-a-thon around the campus green, listened to a speaker from DBSA and enjoyed food, activities, and friendly competitions.
With the help of their sponsors, Alpha Sigma Phi raised over $7,400, all of which was donated to the DBSA.
Sponsors for this event include the Student Government Association of Seton Hall along with The Fox and Falcon and other local businesses.
