
Pandemic Panel to Discuss Impact on Children
Focused on the impact of COVID-19, the topic for this week's expert panel will be "Children: Education and Safety."
The Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University is designed to produce exceptional physicians who truly understand what drives health and disease, integrate technology and systems into their thinking and practice, and are able to improve the health outcomes of all populations.
Focused on the impact of COVID-19, the topic for this week's expert panel will be "Children: Education and Safety."
This week the inaugural class Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University begin their clerkships.
All students will participate in a three-year core curriculum, meeting rigorous, standardized learning outcomes. This will be complemented in the fourth year by an individualization of the medical school experience - an option unlike any program in the country.
Each person in the US, regardless of race or socioeconomic status, will enjoy the highest levels of wellness in an economically and behaviorally sustainable fashion.
We must also radically reorient our profession to the importance of what happens in the community. And we must do this through the training of our physicians.
The campus will include the new School of Medicine being started by Hackensack Meridian Health and Seton Hall, as well as Seton Hall's College of Nursing and School of Health and Medical Sciences.
